People are poor predictors of their own behavior.

Aaru grounds large-scale populations of AI agents in real demographic, behavioral, and outcomes data. The resulting simulations often predict behavior more accurately than asking people directly, helping decision-makers test what happens before they commit money, time, or reputation.

What we expect of ourselves.

Our work impacts real decisions at a global scale. These principles govern how we do it.

John Kessler

Co-Founder and CTO

John Kessler is co-founder and CTO of Aaru. Before Aaru, he conducted simulation research at MIT's City Science Lab. John leads the company's technical research and the development of its simulation systems, translating ambitious ideas about modeling human behavior into reliable technology.

Our founders

Aaru’s founders began with a question: can human behavior be simulated at the scale and complexity of the real world? They’ve been pursuing the answer ever since.
